Wastewater Discharge Permitting and Surveys

Are you new in town, or considering locating in the Tri-City area? Please contact us! All local industries are required to comply with our Sewer Use Ordinances, and many will need to obtain an Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit from the District prior to discharging to the sanitary sewer system. The industrial wastewater discharge permitting process, sewer service and capacity fees, and Federal and local requirements are summarized in the Industrial User Guide.

When requested, submittal of an Individual Wastewater Discharge Permit Application Form may be needed:
- Cover Sheet to be printed and wet signed
- PART A – Section 1 Application
- PART B – Business Description
- PART C – Schematic Flow Diagram(s)
- PART D – Site Plan/Building Layout
- PART E — Water Source & Use
- PART F — Building Sewer Discharge
- PART G – Completed by USD
Zero Discharge Permit
If you have been approved to file for a Zero Discharge Permit, please review the instructions for completing a Zero Discharge Permit Application. A Certification Statement and Cover Sheet must be completed and submitted annually.

Industry specific PRCC forms are not available for Industrial Users (IU) to download. If needed, please request the appropriate forms from USD’s Pretreatment Program Coordinator or Inspectors. Public access to industry-specific PRCC forms may be possible in the future.
